Edward Point is the Head of Market Microstructure and Liquidity at Kalshi, the leading regulated prediction markets exchange. His role spans market structure, execution, and exchange design, with a focus on how markets function in practice.

Ed began his career as a Quantitative Trader at DRW where he researched, developed, and operated latency sensitive algorithms. During his tenure, he specialized in market microstructure and liquidity dynamics to expand existing strategies and create novel signals. In 2022, he joined the Systematic Equities team at Citadel Securities where he traded the entire US equities universe. He led the firm’s research on the SEC Tick Size Proposal and its impact on market liquidity.

Ed received an M.S. in Computer Science specializing in Machine Learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Mathematics & Economics from Tulane University.
