Ed is a co-founder PB Investment Partners LP which was established in August of 2019. PB is located in the Bay Area, and he is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the firm.

Ed’s career in the financial services industry spans over 45 years. He began at Goldman Sachs in his hometown of New York, where he spent his early years learning the foundational aspects of operations, finance, and administration. When joining Morgan Stanley, his 10-year tenure commenced with his ascension within business development group where he performed key roles in the international expansion of the firm, including the launch of London based wealth management division. He was also a founding member and Senior Vice President of Morgan Stanley Services, where he was instrumental in the establishment of the prime brokerage, securities lending, and clearing businesses.

After relocating to California in 1993, Ed served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Genesis Merchant Group, a $20 billion investment boutique that was comprised of a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, and proprietary alternative fund platform. After consummating the sale of Genesis, He founded HC Associates, LLC., which was a first of a kind “In House” consulting business that delivered customized business solutions to diversified financial enterprises. In 2012, HC was acquired by Rothstein Kass where he Co-Headed the Business Advisory Practice and subsequently became a Principal at KPMG where he led the alternative investment consulting business for the Western Region.

Ed has held several Senior Advisory roles, including 801 West Capital Management, Bel Air Investment Advisors, Global Financial Services, Constellation Advisors, The Northern Trust Company and a select group of Family Offices.
