Griffin is a Partner in Aon’s Chicago office. He is the Global Head of Operational Due Diligence Services for Aon’s Operational Risk Solutions and Analytics (“ORSA”).

Areas of Specialization

As Global Head of Operational Due Diligence Services for ORSA, Griffin manages a team that conducts comprehensive investment manager due diligence engagements throughout North America, Europe and Asia to uncover operational risk embedded within core firm functions. Review results are delivered to key internal stakeholders as well as Aon’s institutional client base.

He has direct experience reviewing a broad array of investment strategies and structures including hedge funds, mutual funds, equity, fixed income, multi-strategy, fund of funds, credit, separately managed accounts, real estate, private equity, currencies and infrastructure.

Background

Griffin has over 20 years of experience within the financial services industry. He began his career with Morgan Stanley on the Institutional Equities Desk and also spent time with Northern Trust within its Investment Operations Outsourcing Business. Prior to joining Aon, Griffin was a Senior Consultant with Mercer where he led Operational due diligence reviews.

Griffin holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s J L Kellogg School of Management and a BS degree from Marquette University.
