Marc Baum is the Principal of the Solel Group and the General Counsel of Aetos Alternatives Management. Marc is also a Senior Advisor to Nexo (nexo.com/en-us), Gravitalix Financial, Levered Capital Advisory Partners (www.levcapadvisory.com) and Checker (www.checker.finance).
Prior to these roles, Marc was a Senior Advisor to Abra and the Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer at Pacific Road Capital Management after serving as a Senior Managing Director, Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and fund director at Serengeti Asset Management LP (“Serengeti”) from 2010 to 2020.
Marc received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Harvard College, earned his M.Sc. from The London School of Economics and received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
