Reena Lalji is responsible for overseeing the finance, legal/compliance and human resource functions of Research Affiliates. She is a member of the firm’s board and Management Committee and also chairs the Administration Committee. Reena has over 25 years of experience in the investment management industry. Prior to joining Research Affiliates, she was general counsel and a member of the board at Wilshire Advisors, a global investment management and technology solutions firm. Reena has held various roles in the financial industry, including senior counsel at RBC Global Asset Management and associate at Dentons (formerly Faser Milner Casgrain). She is also a founding board member of the Asset Management Forum, a business league that promotes women in the asset management industry. Reena received a BComm from the University of Alberta, an LLB/JD from the University of Victoria, and an LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School. She is a member of the bar in California and Ontario, Canada.
