Special Agent Robert "Brett" Lally has worked for the FBI as an Intelligence Analyst and Special Agent for a combined 15 years, primarily investigating cyber criminal and counter-terrorism matters. Brett has experience investigating computer intrusions, botnets, ransomware matters, cyber extortion, and intellectual property theft. Before transferring to the San Diego Field Office in 2021, Brett worked for seven years in the New York Field Office, six years at FBI Headquarters, and has served overseas for the FBI in France, Belgium, and Afghanistan.
