Elizabeth is a seasoned investment and country risk advisor, currently serving as the Managing Director of Geopolitical Risk Advisory, a technology-driven geopolitical consultancy. She collaborates with both commercial and philanthropic organizations to shape corporate strategies and planning initiatives across diverse sectors and regions, helping clients effectively navigate and mitigate risks.
Previously, Elizabeth spent a decade as Head of Credit & Political Risk Advisory at JLT Specialty, where she partnered with some of the world’s leading commodity traders, energy firms, and financial institutions operating across Europe, Africa, and the Americas. During her tenure at JLT, she developed the World Risk Review, an innovative country risk ratings platform offering analysis and ratings for 198 territories.
Elizabeth holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from the London School of Economics, with a focus on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East. She is also a guest lecturer at London Business School, Cass Business School, and Henley Business School, where she teaches Masters and Executive Education programs on topics such as Geopolitical Risk Management, Strategic Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, and Reputational Risk Management.
A frequent speaker at industry conferences, Elizabeth is regularly featured in prominent media outlets, including the Financial Times and The Times. She has also made recent appearances on Sky News, the BBC, and CNC.
