Manu Steijaert is President, International Operated Markets at McDonald's, leading the company's 16 wholly owned markets across Europe, Canada and Australia, representing more than 10,000 restaurants.

With nearly 25 years of experience across the McDonald's System, Manu has held leadership roles spanning operations, market management and customer experience, including serving as Executive Vice President and Global Chief Customer Officer. He joined McDonald's in Belgium in 2001 and has since led businesses across Europe and internationally.

Manu's connection to McDonald's began long before his corporate career. As the son of a McDonald's franchisee in Belgium, he worked in his parents' restaurants from an early age, giving him first-hand insight into restaurant operations and the importance of frontline teams. He studied Art and Design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and is fluent in Dutch, English, French and German.
