Gaelle Vanlaer is Senior Sanctions Manager at Miller Insurance Services, where she leads sanctions and export controls matters across the company’s global business. She advises on complex international trade controls issues, regulatory developments, governance frameworks, and sanctions risk management.

Prior to joining Miller in July 2026, Gaelle served as International Trade Controls (Sanctions) Framework Owner at Swiss Re, where she oversaw the group's global sanctions framework and developed a new country risk-rating methodology to support a more structured and risk-based assessment of sanctions exposure. Earlier in her career, she held sanctions compliance roles at Allianz Commercial and Willis Towers Watson, advising on sanctions and export controls across multiple jurisdictions. Her experience spans sanctions governance, framework development, regulatory implementation, and strategic advisory support within the insurance industry.
