With more than three decades of international trade experience, Jasper helps clients navigate the most challenging regulatory environments. His practice spans sanctions, export controls, national security, anticorruption and anti-money laundering (AML), as well as customs, trade remedies, free trade agreements and rules of origin.

He develops forward-looking strategies that help clients anticipate regulatory shifts and succeed in geopolitically sensitive transactions, industries and jurisdictions.

Jasper also leads regulatory and internal investigations, prepares voluntary disclosures and negotiates favourable resolutions with enforcement agencies—including in criminal matters. His transactional practice includes counseling on mergers & acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures (JVs), investments, lending, due diligence, shareholder matters and corporate governance.
