Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII), Energy Efficiency Existing Ships Index (EEXI) and other regulations are providing pressure to ever improve the efficiency of ships. David Wignall is a senior port and shipping professional who has planned and financed over US$ 30 billion of port, maritime infrastructure and ships in the last 15 years. He was Senior Vice President of Indonesia’s State Owed Port Company (IPC) for five years and Chairman of a major container terminal for four years. He was also chief engineer of Stena Line for four years.

Delegates must meet two criteria to be eligible for an Informa Connect Academy Certificate of Completion:
- Satisfactory attendance - Delegates must attend all sessions of the course. Delegates who miss more than 2 hours of the course sessions will not be eligible to sit the course assessment
- Successful completion of the course assessment - Assessments will be ongoing and based on in-class participation and activities
