Profile
GoodFuels is a fast growing company which is active under various labels & various companies in the production, sales & marketing, trading and development of truly sustainable fuels across 3 continents. It wants to serve only these transport segments for which biofuels is (one of) the best option(s) for the foreseeable future: aviation, shipping and heavy ground transport. With the founders having made a name for themselves in making the market of sustainable jet fuel, GoodFuels is now a global market maker for sustainable marine bio fuels banking on the belief that Co2 will become as critical for shipping as it is for instance for aviation. It has therefore launched in 2015 a ground breaking program with Finnish engine OEM Wärtsilä and Dutch marine conglomerate Royal Dutch Boskalis to test and implement a new range of advanced marine biofuels across the Boskalis global fleet. Next to this permanent development program, GoodFuels Marine is already serving several leading global marine clients across various segments such as offshore & dredging, navy & coast guard, ferries and cruise, yachting, bulk and container – latter with the Goodshipping program (www.goodshipping.com). Sustainability is paramount for GoodNRG Group and therefore it has set up its own independent sustainability board consisting out of leading NGO's (Carbon War Room, Zero, RSB etc.) and academics actively overseeing and monitoring the Group's sustainability practice. As runner up to GoodFuels Dirk founded SkyNRG, the Amsterdam based global market leader in sustainable jet fuel- serving more than 25 aviation customers on more than 5 continents. Before his time at GoodFuels and SkyNRG , Dirk worked for 12 years in the airline industry in London and Amsterdam for both low cost as flag carriers, his last position being Vice President Business Innovation at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Dirk Kronemeijer (1974) achieved his MSc in Business Economics from the University of Groningen and he completed executive programs at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) and INSEAD.
