Jacob Sterling is Senior Director, Head of Decarbonisation Innovation & Business Development in A.P. Moller-Maersk. One of the main challenges is to bring about innovation that can bring about a commercially viable carbon-neutral container ship by 2030, and fully decarbonize the company before 2050.

Jacob has worked in Maersk since 2009, and prior to the current role held roles within sustainability and product optimization. Prior to working in Maersk, Jacob worked in WWF World Wide Fund for Nature, and he holds a master’s degree in biology.
