Sean has more than 30 years’ experience in the financial sector, specifically focussed on the marine, renewable energy, and manufacturing sectors, including 14 years as a director at Ernst & Young.

Sean has spent much of his working life helping businesses build value and a big part of this has been ensuring that commercial strategies are aligned with the expectations of funders and investors. His experience includes transaction advisory roles with large consultancies and, in the last ten years, he has spent an increasing amount of his time working in non-executive or board advisory roles living with businesses and their strategies.

Sean is passionate about the transition to a low carbon economy, not merely from a philosophical perspective but because of the business opportunities that it presents.
