We spoke to judges, participants and the winner about why events like Finding Your Voice is crucial for the wealth and investment management community.
Founded in 2018, Finding Your Voice is designed to equip women in wealth and investment management with the confidence to speak up and to speak with authority.
“With our wonderful coach and leadership mentor Alison Campbell, we designed a programme to help people find their voice and not be afraid to speak out in any situation – business or otherwise”, said Jenny Adams, Editor in Chief, IMpower | FundForum.
The 2024 programme focussed on understanding the common response to public speaking: fear.
“Fear is something we have in our mind, and it’s easy to overcome it if you understand how your body works”, shared Alison Campbell.
Equipped with Campbell’s expert guidance, 6 participants took stage on the evening of 1 May 2024, where they presented to a room full of wealth and investment management professionals their personal stories.
