Steven Schultz is the Director, State Government Affairs for Sage Therapeutics. Since joining in 2020, Steven has worked in the western half of the country, alongside a diverse set of stakeholders, to enact policies to help patients, in particular those with postpartum depression.

Prior to joining Sage Therapeutics, Steven oversaw all state legislative and regulatory activity with the Arthritis Foundation. While with the Arthritis Foundation, Steven chaired for the All Copays Count Coalition state subgroup, which championed legislation across the country to ensure that health insurers counted patient assistance towards a patient’s cost-sharing requirements.

Steven is a graduate of Greenville College in Illinois.
