Tara McGrath is a partner in Morrison Foerster’s Investigations + White Collar Defense practice and a former United States Attorney for the Southern District of California. Drawing on decades of leadership in federal law enforcement and the Department of Justice, Tara advises clients navigating complex investigations, regulatory scrutiny, and enforcement risk, including matters involving healthcare, compliance, and government-facing industries. Before joining MoFo, she served as the chief federal law enforcement officer for one of the nation’s busiest districts, following prior roles as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, DOJ trial attorney, and U.S. Marine Corps judge advocate. Tara brings a practical enforcement perspective to evolving patient support services and hub model compliance challenges.
