Evan Panich is an Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts. He has personally recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for taxpayers through False Claims Act. He currently sits in the criminal division, where he has handled a variety of matters, including complex health care fraud cases. Prior to joining the government, Evan was a partner at McDermott Will & Emery, where he defended False Claims Act and other government enforcement matters. Earlier in his career, he clerked for Hon. Denise J. Casper in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Evan earned his B.A. from Brown University and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
