Lakia began her career in the HealthCare Industry specializing in patient access services over a decade ago and has been recognized for high achievements and continued excellence in the design, build, implementation, and execution of Patient Support Programs.

She has recently been awarded the President’s Award Commercial Operations for launch excellence 2022 and previously in 2021.  In addition to Lakia’s exceptional career highlights, she holds an MBA from Jack Welch Management Institute and another MBA in Human Resource Management and Services from Keller Graduate School of Management.  Lakia is currently the Director for Patient Support Programs, Enterprise Strategy at Boehringer Ingelheim.
