Before entering the pharmaceutical industry 6 years ago, Laurie Hart was a Registered Nurse taking care of patients at the bedside for over 13 years. In 2018, she joined Alexion Pharmaceuticals as a Nurse Case Manager, continuing to empower and educate patients through their Patient Services program. Eventually, her career path led to the strategic and operational side of Patient Services, and as the Sr. Manager of Patient Access Strategy, she oversaw the company’s free goods and copay programs. In 2023, realizing the impact she could make innovating, building, and implementing patient support services, Laurie joined Elevar Therapeutics, an emerging start-up oncology company, as the Associate Director, Market Access – Patient Services, where she is using her varied experience to create a best-in-class Patient Support Program from the ground up.
