Susan Connelly, PharmD, MBA
Team Lead, Global Medical Communications & Content, Internal Medicine

In this role, Susan Leads the team responsible for the global medical communications and content strategy and execution for IM Medical Affairs working with Global and US Medical Affairs Teams on pubs, congress, social and field medical materials.

Susan started her medical communications career over 20 years ago and has since served in a number of roles in agency and academic settings before joining Pfizer, by way of Wyeth, in 2007.

Since then, she has held various roles of increasing responsibility. While in Global Medical Grants she was responsible for the learning and change strategy for a variety of clinical areas as well as continuous process improvement and ultimately GMG Operations. She then transitioned to Medical Affairs where she held the roles of US Medical Director and Global Medical Excellence Lead before taking on her current role of Team Lead, Global Medical Communications & Content, Internal Medicine.

Susan holds a BS in Pharmacy, PharmD and MBA in Pharmaceutical Business from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (now St. Joseph’s University) and is a licensed pharmacist in the state of PA. Susan is also a Fellow of the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professional (ACEHP).

Susan lives in Lansdale, PA with her husband, twin children, and their dog. She enjoys reading and walks on the beach.
