Alex Corbett is the Vice President of Risk Advisory and Management, leading ATB’s Capital Markets, Corporate, Commercial and Consumer Special Loans teams. He is a voting member of the Credit Committee and is the chair of the Special Loans Committee.

Alex brings over 23 years of experience including 13 years in public practice in both Canada and Europe. He has a successful track record of achieving organizational goals, driving financial results and efficiencies, and leading a culture of change.

His public practice background was focused in distressed corporate advisory, valuations, due diligence & dispositions and three years in assurance. While working in London, UK, Alex specialized in complex cross border restructurings, advising both companies and syndicates.

Alex is dedicated to lifelong learning. He holds a Masters of Professional Accounting, a Certification in Financial Forensics, and he is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional, a Licensed Insolvency Trustee, and a Chartered Business Valuator.
