Ken Yager is the Founder and President of Newpoint Advisors Corporation, bringing more than 35 years of executive leadership and turnaround management experience to distressed and underperforming businesses nationwide. He is widely recognized for his work with small and mid-sized companies, positioning himself and his team as trusted advocates for organizations facing financial and operational distress.

Ken founded Newpoint Advisors in 2013 following his own experience with a failed entrepreneurial venture. After struggling to find practical, tailored solutions for small, distressed businesses, he identified a critical gap in the marketplace and committed himself to building the firm he wished had existed when he needed help. Since then, he has led more than 300 engagements across a wide range of industries, helping business owners stabilize operations, preserve value, and move forward.Throughout his career, Ken has assumed direct profit-and-loss and risk-management responsibility for cash-constrained companies in growth, leveraged buyout, and turnaround situations. His experience spans the successful implementation of hundreds of initiatives involving operations, project management, team development, marketing, sales, and joint-venture management. He is a fierce advocate for capital preservation and job retention.

Ken is also the innovator behind Newpoint’s proprietary Turnaround Action Matrix Evaluation (TAME), a structured, data-driven methodology designed to identify, diagnose, and address business distress in a disciplined and repeatable way.

A Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) and Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO), Ken is deeply engaged in the turnaround and restructuring community. He serves on multiple Turnaround Management Association (TMA) Global committees, including the Education Oversight Committee and Nominations Committee, and has been a repeat guest editor for the Journal of Corporate Renewal. He is also active with the SFNet Content Committee and the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Education Committee for Financial Advisors and Investment Bankers, and currently serves on the TMA Florida Board, as well as programming and membership committees.Ken’s insights have been published in the Journal of Corporate Renewal, the Risk Management Association (RMA), and Private Equity Journal. He is a frequent contributor to industry panels, webinars, and podcasts, and has been quoted by The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Crain’s Chicago Business, and other leading media outlets.
