George Trevino is a results-driven finance executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in the high-tech sector and more than a decade in residential real estate. As the former CFO of Camillo Companies (SimplyHome, Legend Homes, and Academy Land Development), George oversaw all finance facets of the residential real estate value chain. A recognized leader in the Single-Family Rental (SFR) and Build-to-Rent (BTR) sectors, he played a pivotal role in transforming Camillo Properties (now SimplyHome) into one of the nation’s largest BTR portfolios, scaling to approximately 11,000 homes.

Today, George is the Co-founder and Principal Advisor of Portfolio Pro Advisors, a collaborative network of industry leaders and C-suite executives that provide strategic guidance on every aspect of SFR and BTR portfolio management, helping clients navigate and excel in an evolving real estate landscape.

George holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
