Jean-Marc Bélanger joined COGIR Real Estate more than 18 years ago and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company’s Multi-Residential Division across Canada, overseeing a portfolio of more than 27,000 apartments.

With extensive experience in real estate management and a strong belief that people are at the heart of every successful strategy, Mr. Bélanger brings a passionate, people-focused, and results-driven approach to leadership. By placing clients—both residents and property owners—at the center of operations, he has played a key role in the significant growth and evolution of COGIR’s Multi-Residential Division over the past several years.

Together with his team, Mr. Bélanger has also led the lease-up and operational launch of several major residential developments, representing more than 10,000 units in recent years, including Humaniti Montréal, Mostra Longueuil, Mostra Candiac, Odea, and Haleco, among others.
