Bill is a Managing Partner and Torchlight’s head of Special Servicing and has worked at Torchlight for 13 years. Prior to Torchlight, Bill worked at Auction.com, LNR Partners, Rockwood Real Estate Advisors and First Potomac Realty Trust. totaling more than 20 years in the Special Servicing and Asset Management business. Torchlight has been a b-piece buyer on CMBS deals for over 20 years and has worked out over 700 loans over its history, most of which Bill has touched in some way. Currently, Torchlight is named as Special Servicer on $20 billion of Conduit/Freddie/SASB deals with about $3 billion in active workout. Bill has handled multiple complex restructures as of late, including the Columbia Property Trust (CXP 2022-CXP1), 135 South Lasalle in the CGCMT 2015-GC31 transaction, 1407 Broadway, and 75 Broad Street and is in the process of marketing 600 California for sale. Bill holds an MBA from the University of Florida and a BBA from Roanoke College.
