Amber is the Social Impact Director at Nuveen Real Estate. She is an urban planner with over to ten years of experience in community development, strategic planning, and program evaluation work. Amber focuses on developing impact plans for new assets and creating tools to support the evaluation of new Impact transactions. She works closely with the Impact team to analyze key performance indicators overtime that enhance service delivery at properties, improve housing stability for residents, and support rigorous evaluation and reporting.

Previously, Amber served as the Associate Director of Social Impact at Jonathan Rose Companies, where she oversaw the impact management process for the Communities of Opportunity program and helped launch new initiatives and engagement strategies that improved housing stability and resident well-being. Prior to Jonathan Rose Companies, Amber spent close to 8 years in nonprofit and city government roles, supporting community development projects that increase public health and safety in neighborhoods.

Amber earned her Master’s in City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.S. in Landscape Design from Columbia University, and a B.A. in Architectural Studies from Mount Holyoke College.
