Profile
Bethany Brantley is an accomplished sustainability executive, ESG investor, and climate advocate with more than a decade of leadership experience spanning private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, financial services, and government research. She brings a strategic perspective to advancing sustainability and business outcomes across the global digital economy.
As Head of Sustainability for STACK Infrastructure, Bethany leads the company’s global sustainability strategy and programs, driving initiatives that align climate action, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.
Prior to joining in her current role, Bethany served as Global Head of ESG for IPI Partners, one of the world’s largest private digital infrastructure investment platforms and STACK’s private equity owner. She played a pivotal role in the early development of STACK’s sustainability strategy, which she now directs within the operating company.
Bethany’s prior experience includes serving as Senior Vice President and Head of ESG and Investor Engagement and Accountability at Orion Energy Partners. She also held the role of Vice President and Head of Fundraising and ESG at Energy Impact Partners (EIP).
Earlier in her career, Bethany held technical roles focused on renewable energy and ESG data and intelligence for S&P Global, Natural Resources Defense Council and the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). At NREL, she led the first-ever DOE technical study on data center sustainability and green power procurement in the ICT sector — a project that helped lay the groundwork for industry best practices in digital infrastructure sustainability.
Bethany is also a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at NYU’s Center for Global Affairs, where her focus centers on investment strategies that promote environmental sustainability, social impact, and the transition to a low-carbon digital future.
Bethany holds a Master’s in Environmental Management and Sustainability (ALM) from Harvard University and a BBA in Finance and Marketing from Texas Christian University
