Carol Samaan is Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Healthpeak Properties, Inc. (NYSE: DOC), a publicly traded S&P 500 healthcare real estate investment trust. In her role, Carol advises on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, ESG and sustainability reporting, SEC reporting, capital markets deals, and other legal matters. Prior to joining Healthpeak, Carol was Assistant General Counsel at Western Digital, a global technology company, where she focused on global corporate governance, compensation, employee benefit, and ESG matters. Carol also spent several years working for leading global law firms, including Latham & Watkins LLP. Carol earned her Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and Juris Doctorate (magna cum laude) from Boston University School of Law.
