Chang leads Market Research and Innovation at RE Tech and has over twelve years of advisory and consulting experience focused on ESG for CRE. His current role revolves around developing innovative tools, processes, platforms, and programs to help decarbonize the built environment, as well as establishing strategic relationships with organizations to develop holistic sustainability and climate risk services to clients.

Chang’s past work includes innovating processes for identifying, evaluating, and mitigating physical and transition risks due to climate change as well as the development of new methodology to calculate emissions reductions for diversified portfolios over time. Chang is also experienced with various ESG reporting and assessments, such as GRESB, PRI, SASB, and TCFD. Previously, Chang worked at ULI Greenprint Center, focusing on ESG data analysis and reporting for CRE.

Chang is a LEED AP O+M professional and holds a B.S. Integrated Degree in Environmental Science and Renewable Energy Engineering from Lehigh University. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Sustainability Management from Columbia University.
