Dan is a consultant with Brightly Energy & Sustainability, focused on real estate decarbonization. Through seven years at Brightly, Dan has extensive experience supporting commercial real estate organizations with sustainability initiatives, including preparing GHG emissions inventories under the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, preparing ESG Benchmark program submissions such as GRESB and CDP, assessing pathways to portfolio decarbonization, and setting sustainability targets in line with guidance of the GHG Protocol and the Science-Based Targets Initiative. Dan also partners closely with Brightly Product Development to improve sustainability reporting capabilities in our Stream™ platform to support our clients’ continued success. Dan holds a BEng. in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University and an MASc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
