Hanna Swaintek is a principal in our Seattle office and leads Buro Happold’s United States’ sustainability team. Hanna provides project management and technical expertise for a range of projects.Hanna’s ability to manage multiple teams and/or stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes ensures a high-quality client experience. Hanna is skilled at creating innovative solutions and translating technical information for owners and clients while remaining cognizant of scope, schedule, and budget.
As an engineer and a natural collaborator, Hanna is a systems-thinker who uses client collaboration to expertly identify the purpose driving an endeavor as well as the desired end state. This allows her to create a targeted project or program strategy whether the focus be on decarbonization, wellness, overall environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG), or building performance.
Hanna has experience leading discovery sessions and working with clients to uncover objectives and strategies related to sustainability, carbon, and/or ESG, advancing internal and external transparency and storytelling, and aiding in progress. Additionally, she’s worked with clients to identify forward-facing goals and document their efforts through corporate reporting.
