Jason McIntyre is the Director of Sustainability and Responsible Investment, North America, at Invesco Real Estate. Jason leads the sustainability and responsible investment strategy and efforts in the US and collaborates cross-functionally within the broader investment management platform to address ESG considerations, risks, and opportunities. Jason is a member of IRE’s Global ESG Committee and provides subject matter expertise and support for portfolio management, asset management, investment committee, and executive management committee.

Jason began his real estate and sustainability career in 2008 and obtained his LEED Accredited Professional (“LEED AP”) in 2008. Prior to joining Invesco Real Estate in 2024, Jason spent 10 years at USAA Real Estate, now known as Affinius Capital, leading their sustainability strategy, and as well as supporting asset management in a real estate operations director role for a 150M SF portfolio. Additional experience includes 4 years as a green building consultant, and sustainability roles in higher education and hospital health care.

Jason earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Facility and Property Management from Brigham Young University. Jason served as the BOMA International Energy and Environment Committee Chair from 2020-2022 and is active in multiple industry associations.
