Joe Stevens is a Founding Partner at SCP-Sustainable Credit Partners, a lender dedicated to providing flexible financing solutions to commercial real estate investors aimed at enhancing the sustainability, resiliency and value of their properties. After more than 30 years in institutional investing and commercial real estate finance, Joe is now focused on catalyzing private capital to decarbonize the built environment.

Throughout his career, Joe has held senior leadership roles at publicly traded REITs, financial institutions, and private equity firms. At Annaly Commercial Real Estate (NYSE: NLY), he helped scale a $3 billion debt and equity platform as the leader of its national loan origination team.

Joe also led the U.S. CRE strategy at CIBC and co-managed Kimco Realty Corporation’s (NYSE: KIM) alternative investment platform, focusing on special situations and high-yield credit investments. His national network includes institutional investors, REITs, private equity sponsors, developers, and family offices.

Joe earned his BA in Public Policy from Duke University and is an active member of ULI, MBA and ICSC.
