Kelli Gillis is a Partner in Frazier & Deeter’s (FD) Advisory Services Practice, specializing in governance, internal controls, compliance, risk mitigation and process improvement. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Audit & Attest practice, and she is a signing engagement partner for attestation engagements for the firm, including primarily ESG assurance reports and System and Organization Controls (SOC) examinations. Kelli is highly skilled in external audits, quality control, internal audit outsourcing and co-sourcing, material weakness remediation, and SOX assessment and testing. She works with various industries, including technology, media & entertainment, manufacturing & distribution and transportation & logistics.
Prior to joining FD, Kelli was a former leader in the national audit quality practice at BDO, an inspector with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) after beginning her career in audit at Deloitte. She enjoys leveraging nearly 18 years of audit and advisory experience to help organizations ensure critical reporting is relevant and reliable to users, whether that information is financial statements or non-financial information such as ESG reporting.
Kelli is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Georgia Society of CPAs, and Institute of Internal Auditors. She is in the 2024-2025 class of Leadership North Fulton and serves on the Alumni Council of her alma mater, Berry College, where she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. She serves as an Advisory Board Member to United Way in Metro Atlanta for North Fulton County. Kelli and her husband David live in Alpharetta, GA on the north side of Atlanta with their two daughters.
