Tess leads Macquarie Asset Management’s (MAM) global ESG approach for real estate assets.
Tess integrates sustainability across MAM’s real estate portfolio with a focus on value creation and operational resilience. A key focus of her work is establishing the net zero pathway for all real estate globally, including both direct investment funds and portfolio company holdings. Her role also entails advising on strategy for new products, alignment with regulation and internal commitments, and production of best practice guidelines and training resources to support empowerment of portfolio and asset management teams.
Previously, Tess worked as a portfolio manager for assets in Australia and Europe at Macquarie and a consultant for urban climate resilience and economic development at HR&A Advisors in New York.
Tess holds a Master of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with distinction, as well as a BA from Bryn Mawr College in Growth and Structure of Cities.
