Bruce leads Rosemont’s Development and Construction efforts and possesses nearly 30 years of experience designing, developing, and building hotels across different construction types.
Prior to joining Rosemont, he served as the Executive Vice President of Construction at StayAPT Suites; Bruce was responsible for the evolving design of the brand’s prototype while managing over 30 active projects in different stages of development and construction. Before StayAPT Suites, Bruce spent 17 years with OTO Development in Spartanburg, SC; a leading hotel developer, owner, operator of hotels. As a Director of Development, he was involved with the development of over 80 hotel projects, utilizing multiple brand franchise relationships, representing over $2.0B in total development costs across.
Prior to OTO Development, Bruce spent 8 years with Extended Stay America as a Director of Construction and was involved in over 200 construction projects before the company was acquired by Blackstone.
Bruce graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Design and began his career in architecture with McMillan Smith Architects.
