Bijal Patel is a Principal at Sonari Capital Partners, a hospitality investment firm focused on hotel acquisitions and development across the United States. An owner, developer and investor, Bijal is actively involved in projects spanning multiple brands and segments, with significant experience in the extended stay space. His work encompasses the full investment lifecycle, from identifying and underwriting opportunities to capitalization, development, brand relationships and asset strategy. Bijal also serves as Chair of Government Affairs for the California Hotel & Lodging Association and previously served as the association’s Chairman, bringing an owner’s perspective to both the business and policy issues shaping the hotel industry.
