Prath Mehta is Director of Asset Management at Westmont Hospitality Group in Houston, where he oversees a portfolio of luxury, upscale, select-service, and limited-service hotels, while also supporting the company’s expansion into alternate investments.

With over two decades of experience across accounting, consulting, hotel brokerage, acquisitions, and asset management, Prath has worked in the United States, Canada, and India. His career has focused on taking on complex and underperforming assets and finding practical ways to improve performance through operational improvements, targeted capital investment, renovations, and strategic repositioning. He has also been involved in bringing international capital partners into U.S. hospitality investments, giving him a unique perspective on cross-border investment and ownership relationships.

Outside of work, Prath enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. He is actively involved in mentoring high school students through programs such as DECA in Texas, where he volunteers and supports students interested in hospitality, finance, and business. He enjoys helping students explore industry careers and encouraging the next generation of hospitality professionals.
