David’s deep connection to the trucking industry is personal and profound. As the son of an over-the-road trucker and the son-in-law of a local trucker in the greater Houston area, he intimately understands the daily challenges truckers face. Coupling this personal insight with his robust project management background, David founded Riggy’s, a company dedicated to setting new standards in truck parking. Riggy’s mission is to bring hospitality and empathy to those who deserve it most, enhancing the lives of truck drivers nationwide by addressing their unique needs with thoughtful and top-tier facilities.

Prior to founding Riggy’s, David was a project manager at SOFEC, a renowned global industrial engineering and construction company. During his tenure, David successfully executed projects ranging from $28 million to $400 million, ensuring contractual obligations and scopes of work were met across a variety of sectors. His extensive experience spans heavy industrial, infrastructure, and environmental projects, including both government-funded initiatives with the US Army Corps of Engineers and private-sector clients.
