Jonathan is the Founder and Managing Partner of Incubation Capital Partners. A seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years of investment banking and private equity experience, Jonathan has played an integral role as an advisor or principal investor to a variety of investment managers in real estate private equity, ranging from small startups to global investment firms.
Jonathan is responsible for the strategic direction and oversite of the firm. In this role, he primarily focuses on distribution, client servicing, business development, and executive search functions. In addition, as part of his role at Incucap, Jonathan is also a co-founder of Outbound Hotels, a lodging investment platform focused on nature-oriented markets, an advisor to a workforce housing specialist, and is also the founder of the Chicago Real Estate Private Equity Network (“CREPE”), an organization that brings together 1,500+ mid- to senior-level real estate professionals in Chicago through social networking, education events, and philanthropy. Additionally, Jonathan established Real Estate Entrepreneurs & Leaders (“REEL”) in 2022, a networking organization for the next generation of real estate private equity CEOs, founders, partners, and leaders.
Prior to forming Incucap in 2011, Jonathan was a capital raising executive at Allegro Advisors, where he evaluated and marketed real estate investment managers globally. Prior to joining Allegro, Jonathan was an investment officer at Rothschild Realty Managers, a private equity fund that provides growth capital to real estate operating companies. He began his career in the Investment Banking Division of Lehman Brothers, covering financial institutions.
Jonathan received his BS in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA with distinction from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
