Mr. Rainford is a Managing Director responsible for developing and implementing acquisition and asset management activities for Artemis. Mr. Rainford has more than 18 years of experience in real estate principal investing across a wide variety of asset types including multifamily, build-for-rent, industrial, and healthcare asset types, particularly in the West Coast, Midwest and Texas. Mr. Rainford joined Artemis in 2011 in the Chevy Chase office before relocating to the Los Angeles office in 2013.

Prior to joining Artemis, Mr. Rainford worked at CIM Group, where he served in the Acquisitions and Development team. Mr. Rainford was focused on all major property types, including multifamily, condos, office, retail, and hotels. Mr. Rainford has also had experience with infrastructure and residential land development projects. Prior to CIM Group, Mr. Rainford was an analyst at PNC Capital Advisors acting in an equity research role, covering a wide array of publicly traded companies, including numerous real estate investment trusts.

Mr. Rainford received a BA in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University.
