Ryan Hughes is a Managing Director of Investor Relations for North America. He is responsible for relationship management for institutional investors and consultants, primarily in the Western United States and Western Canada. Ryan drives fundraising success for Greystar’s flagship products while leading and expanding relationships with institutional investors and key consultant platforms.

Ryan brings 20 years of experience managing teams focused on fundraising, investor relations, and private banking. Prior to Greystar, Ryan was the Head of Investor Relations at Stellus Capital Management, where he established a successful fundraising track record while building and overseeing institutional, cross-functional investor relations and co-investment programs from scratch. Before Stellus, Ryan held a senior role at Harbert Management, where he raised capital across a broad spectrum of alternative strategies, including real estate, private credit, private equity, and venture capital. He has also held roles at JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs, advising ultra-high net worth clients on complex structured finance transactions.

Ryan graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in finance and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University
