Scott Swisher is a Managing Director and Head of Western Region Originations at ACORE CAPITAL in the San Francisco office, responsible for, originating, structuring, underwriting and closing commercial real estate financing opportunities and for managing corporate operations initiatives. Mr. Swisher has more than 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate business, having closed over $10 billion in loans across all product types.

Before joining ACORE CAPITAL, Mr. Swisher was a Vice President on the Credit and Underwriting Team at Starwood Property Trust (STWD) for over four years where he managed the San Francisco-based team.

Prior to STWD, Mr. Swisher was an Associate Vice President at George Smith Partners in Los Angeles, CA, responsible for the acquisition, refinancing, and development of commercial real estate assets nationwide.

Mr. Swisher holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University. He is also a licensed California Real Estate broker.
