Yisroel Berg serves as Chief Investment Officer of Multifamily for Harbor Group International (HGI), a vertically integrated real estate investment and management firm with a multi-billion-dollar national portfolio. Mr. Berg leads all multifamily equity investment activity for Harbor Group, where he is responsible for identifying and evaluating new multifamily investment opportunities for the Company. He develops and implements investment strategies, assesses and mitigates potential risks, and conducts market research and analysis to inform investment decisions. In addition to his equity responsibilities, Mr. Berg oversees debt placement sourcing for HGI’s dedicated credit fund, originating whole loans, subordinate debt, and preferred equity investments across both construction and stabilized financings. He maintains relationships with brokers and lenders across agency, balance sheet, debt fund, and life company channels to source investments and secure financing, supporting the growth and performance of Harbor Group’s portfolio.
