Teddy Karatz is a Senior Director of US Acquisitions at GTIS and in February 2013, moved to California to open GTIS' Los Angeles office. Mr. Karatz is responsible for sourcing and analyzing investment opportunities. Mr. Karatz's experience in real estate industry began in 2006. Prior to joining GTIS, Mr. Karatz worked at O'Donnell/Atkins, a residential land brokerage firm where he worked directly with public and private homebuilders and developers to identify acquisition opportunities throughout California. Prior to O'Donnell Atkins, Mr. Karatz worked in the acquisitions group at KB Home, where he sourced and negotiated residential acquisition opportunities for the firm.Mr. Karatz received a B.A. in Communication from the Annenberg School at the University of Southern California and received a Masters in Real Estate Development from the Lusk School at the University of Southern California.
