Chad Smith is CEO of Envoy Mortgage and President of Mortgage and Financial Services at PLACE. Smith brings more than two decades of mortgage industry leadership to the role, where he will lead the growth of one of the nation’s top lenders, as well as deepen the integration of Envoy Mortgage into the PLACE homeownership ecosystem. Prior to joining PLACE, Smith served as the President and COO of Better.com, where he helped drive gains in revenue and funded loan volume for the publicly-traded lender. Smith previously served as CEO of Mission Loans, President of Direct Lending at loanDepot, and in senior leadership roles at Caliber Home Loans.
