Micah Kordsmeier is Senior Director and leader of Urban Atlantic's southeast expansion, based in Charlotte, NC. Urban Atlantic is a community-minded real estate development and investment company that has catalyzed vibrant neighborhood development in emerging urban and inner-ring suburban markets for more than two decades, most especially through successful partnerships with government, institutional, and not-for-profit entities.

Prior to joining Urban Atlantic, Micah led the development of several prominent public-private projects, including the adaptive reuse of Revolution Mill (Greensboro, NC) and the construction of the new Raleigh Union Station bus transit facility. He has also served the community in a variety of volunteer capacities, including as Board President of the Reuse Arts Center (Durham, NC), member of the Durham Historic Preservation Commission, and a co-founder of a community maker space in Tulsa, OK.

Micah graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Masters of City & Regional Planning.
