Profile

Sam Wayne leads Colliers International’s multifamily investment sales and capital markets platform across the Puget Sound, advising institutional, middle-market, and private capital on acquisitions, dispositions, recapitalizations, and joint-venture equity. With more than 15 years of experience and over $3 billion in transaction volume across 100-plus completed deals, he is a leading multifamily investment advisor in the Pacific Northwest.

His practice focuses on institutional-quality apartment assets, development site assemblages, and structured capital solutions. His experience spans both advisory and principal roles, providing a differentiated perspective on underwriting, capital structuring, and transaction execution in competitive processes.

Prior to rejoining Colliers in 2025, Sam served as a Managing Director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Institutional Capital Markets Group, where he advised on multifamily investment sales and development opportunities across the region. During his earlier tenure at Colliers (2014–2022), he was consistently recognized among the firm’s top producers. He began his career at Marcus & Millichap.

Representative experience includes participation in the $173 million sale of Skyglass, a 31-story apartment tower in South Lake Union, among the largest multifamily transactions in the Seattle market. Sam’s advisory approach emphasizes market timing, capital alignment, and disciplined execution, supported by longstanding relationships across the Pacific Northwest investment community.
