Ms. Huddleston is a member of the Real Estate department within Brean Capital’s investment banking group. During her career, Debra has acted as a trusted advisor to clients on over $200 billion of U.S., Canadian and European bank, insurance company, global asset manager and pension fund managed real estate debt, equity and securities portfolios. She has over 25 years of experience at preeminent financial institutions and a substantial background in real estate finance, capital markets, structured products, acquisitions, portfolio management, and workouts. Previously, Debra was the portfolio manager for the commercial real estate debt platform within a $6 billion fund at Perella Weinberg. Prior to that, Debra was a Managing Director at BlackRock, where she advised some of the firm’s biggest clients, including the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, on the management of their real estate exposures and businesses. From 1996 – 2008, Debra was at Credit Suisse where, among other things, she managed over 50 CMBS, RMBS and ABS securitization transactions totaling in excess of $35 billion. She also built the firm’s commercial real estate CLO business and managed the commercial real estate CLO warehouse. Prior to Credit Suisse, she held positions at Citibank, Salomon Brothers, and Chemical Bank (now JP Morgan Chase). Debra is currently an independent director and trustee of the PIMCO Registered Funds boards and PIMCO Asset-Based Lending Company and on the board of directors of The Community Development Trust. She was previously the Chairman of the Board of Directors of National Cooperative Bank, an independent board member of Fieldpoint Private Bank, and an independent credit committee member of Phoenix Real Tech. Debra holds an M.B.A from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from Brown University in history.
